Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea was hit by a car and left.  A couple of good samaritans by the names of Tony and Amy Carderelli stopped and picked her up.  They took her to the Emergency Animal Hospital in Lynchburg and paid for her emergency care.  She suffered some bumps and bruises, to the extent that she couldn't walk for the first few days.  She was unable to move one front leg and that was of some concern.  The Vet told us that she had suffered nerve damage to that front leg and it would not likely regain any feeling or use.  Therefore it was recommended that it be removed.  Sweet Pea gets around very well on her three good legs.
Sweet Pea has already undergone her spay and did very well.  Now it's time to amputate the leg.
Angels of Assisi in Roanoke has agreed to do the surgery at a cost of $250.  We are hoping this raffle will raise that money.
