Bow N Arrow got it's start not long ago. As an individual I spent as much time as possible helping the breed.
Either thru education of others, donating to rescues in need or volunteering at my local shelter. I wasn't able to rescue
or foster myself because of my small yard and living in Ohio, which is still the worst state to be in as a pit bull owner.
We've moved to Virginia and now have the property and the means to do what I feel I must do. I get great satisfaction
out of saving a dog and finding it it's perfect forever home.
The process to adopt from Bow N Arrow Pit Bull Rescue is simple. Request an adoption form and once completed mail
it back to me. I will review it, I reserve the right to refuse anyone if I feel it's not the right match. I will
arrange a home check if your application passes. The adoption fee for each dog is $75. That covers all vet care
and spay/neuter surgery. The dog/puppy will be up to date on shots and wormings. If it's old enough it will also
have it's rabies certificate. During warmer months I'll have them already started on Heartworm preventative and Frontline
Plus Flea and Tick drops.
I expect the adoptor's help in getting their new puppy/dog to them. I am more than willing to do the leg work to
help find transportation and even drive a distance myself. But I do expect help from the new owner in getting that accomplished.
Adoptor's are more than welcome to drive all the way over and visit while picking up their new pet. Or if you want to
pay for air transportation that can also be worked out.
